First Time Ordering Awards?

If you’ve just been given the task of ordering some awards, you’ve probably got a few questions regarding the process, as this isn’t an everyday purchase for most people.

At EC Awards we have over 40 years’ experience of supplying awards, so we’ve used that to try and answer the most common questions and concerns.

We are happy to take your orders either online through our e-commerce website, or offline following e-mail or phone enquiries.

When you place an order online;

  • Select the products you would like to order
  • Choose the size and quantity of each award
  • Add your engraving / printing text where prompted, and upload a logo or multiple logos if this is required
  • There is also a free text box for you to add any further instructions for how you want the details to be laid out on the award – For example you could specify the font, where you want the logo to be positioned, or that you may like the winners name to be larger than the other text. Any details at all that will help us create the right layout for you at the first time of asking.
  • Select your delivery date and delivery address*

*The standard delivery time will be 6 or 7 working days depending on the product. However, some products will show an Express Delivery option at 4 working days. If your awards are needed sooner than that, all is not lost, as we can sometimes engrave and deliver orders in as little as 2 days depending on the volume of work at that time. All you need to do is call or e-mail our sales team with your requirements, and we will confirm whether it’s possible or not.

What’s Next?

After you’ve completed and paid for your order, you will receive confirmation by e-mail. We will start to work on the artwork proof of your engraving and will e-mail you a PDF to approve before we engrave or print any of your awards. If you have any amendments or want to change any of the details, that’s no problem at all. We’ll send you revised proofs until you are totally happy with the layout.

When your awards have been completed, we will pack these securely and send them on an overnight service with a courier. If you would like to track the delivery, we can provide you with tracking details.

If you don’t have all the engraving details, you can still order your awards online!

When you get to the stage where you are asked to add your customisation, please just tell us ‘Customisation details to follow’ in the Notes section. We will reserve the stock for your order and liaise with you regarding when you will have the details and when you would like delivery.

You don’t have to place your order through our e-commerce website.

If you are undecided about what product to order, want some advice or maybe clarification on pricing, then just send us an e-mail or call the sales team. We can help you decide which award might be most suitable and which branding method would work best with your logo.

From there we will give you a final quotation, and when you’re happy with that you will receive an Order Confirmation. The rest of the process will be exactly the same as if you’d ordered online.
